Dear All Ayurveda Teachers,
Our ATA delegation had Acting Vice-Chancellor, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
regarding following points –
1. Career Advancement Scheme (time-bound increment & time-bound promotion) should be implemented in all aspects at every affiliated Ayurveda college to M.U.H.S., Nashik.
2. Staffing pattern of Ayurveda College for minimum intake capacity must be 1 Professor, 1 Associate Professor & 1 Assistant Professor in every department (1 additional Assistant Professor in Samhita Siddhanta Department for Sanskrit subject).
3. Teachers (Assistant Professors having 10 years experience & Associate Professors having 5 years experience) working in MUHS affiliated colleges must be given a chance to work in various committees appointed by MUHS such as Subject expert, VC Nominee, BC nominee, LIC, etc. Now, MUHS is giving a chance to most of the committees to only professors for those committees.
4. Teacher welfare committees should be made more active & strong in all affiliated Ayurveda colleges to M.U.H.S., Nashik.
5. All UGC rules & regulations should be strictly followed in M.U.H.S., Nashik
Hon. V. C. Sir responded very positively & promised to take necessary steps to resolve the same.
