ATA National Executives & Maharashtra State Committee Meeting, Ahmednagar, 20/09/2018 – Report

AYURVEDA TEACHERS ASSOCIATION’s National Executives & Maharashtra State Committee Meeting was held at Ahmednagar on 20/09/2018. On this occasion, about 36 Ayurveda teachers were present & participated actively. The discussion among teachers was very positive & it had lead to the welfare of Ayurveda – science, education & teachers. Here we are sharing the report of the said meeting along with its minutes with all of you:

  • Meeting had started with Lord Dhanwantari Pujan & Prayer.
  • National Secretary of our Association – Dr. Manoj Chaudhari had put forth the resolution for accepting Chairpersonship of this meeting to our National President – Dr. Rahul Suryavanshi & the same was supported by our National executive – Dr. Nitin Waghmare.
  • The host team of Ahmednagar region had welcomed warm-heartedly all present Ayurveda teachers.
  • Introductory speech was delivered by National Vice President of our Association – Dr. Nitin Chandurkar which had well explained about the direction of Association’s present & future path of work.
  • Manoj Chaudhari (National Secretary) had discussed & shared information about our Association’s work till to date such as resolutions passed in ‘All India Ayurveda Teachers Conference’ in Pune on 19th August 2018 which later on communicated to concerned authorities like M.U.H.S., Nashik, CCIM & AYUSH. He had also explained about Govt. Aided teacher’s AGP matter like the discussion with MED Minister of Maharashtra State Hon. Girishji Mahajan & MED Ayurved Adviser Hon. Dr. S. S. Savarikar Sir. He had also shared about the works carried out by teachers of Association who are BOS Members in M.U.H.S., Nashik.
  • To organize an International Ayurveda Conference proposal in collaboration with Ayurveda Teachers Association was put forth by Dr. Dhanashri Bodade (Executive of Route Research, Hyderabad) & our Maharashtra ATA Treasurer Dr. Vihar Bidwai. This proposal was discussed in a positive way by all present teachers & it was unanimously decided that the conference details will be finalized by the Conference Committee of our Maharashtra State ATA.
  • As our National Treasurer Dr. Anand Madgundi was not able to attend this meeting due to an unavoidable family problem, the account details of income & expenditure of our Association till date were shared by Dr. Manoj Chaudhari.
  • Ayurveda Teachers Association’s Academic Committee, Research Committee, Conference Committee & Placement Cell formation was discussed & cast from interested teachers by unanimous discussion as follows –

 Some subjects were instantly raised for discussion at the time of the meeting, which was discussed by permission of Hon. Chairperson is as follows –

  1. Manoj Chaudhari had opined that to improve quality of teaching of Ayurveda teachers, CME’s, Symposium, and Orientation Programs should be organised through Association, which was unanimously accepted by all teachers & it was decided to be organized in future months.
  2. Khade Vaibhav had put forth an idea of conducting orientation programs for improving quality of Ayurveda students in various topics such as Samhita Saptaha, etc. All members had agreed unanimously & accepted to carry such programs in upcoming days.
  3. To encourage Ayurveda teachers who are working dedicatedly in their respective subjects should be honored – this thought was proposed by Dr. Jondhale Praddep. It was discussed & unanimously decided to be implemented after a few months.
  4. Online Peer-Reviewed Research Journal should be published through our Association was opined by Dr, Waghmare Nitin. This subject was discussed by all & unanimously decided to carry out positively soon.
  5. Dobade Dipak had put forth the topic about to form placement cell of our Association. The same was discussed & accordingly the placement cell team was decided in this meeting.
  6. Topic to form ladies Ayurveda teachers wing was discussed & unanimously it was decided that instead of forming the separate wing, Association will take the contribution of interested ladies Ayurveda teachers in various activities of our Association.
  • Rahul Suryavanshi (National President) had delivered his chairperson speech & asked active participation of more & more Ayurveda teachers in Association’s work.
  • Pradeep Jondhale (National Executive) had given the vote of thanks to all host team members & participated Ayurveda teachers.
